So I was in the middle of 2 surfers

I was closest to the peak and didn't go.....

I am afraid that it didn't really warrant the admonishment that ensued

However

The reaction was a bit over done.... and frankly ... well....

I did try to console, to a degree, but .... no

I'll just chalk it up to experience
and
hope for another wave for you guys.

Oh Yeah I did get several really nice rides today and maintained my stoke !
